Day 22

I've been here 3 weeks now, hard to believe, though at the same time it has also felt really long. Today was a fairly easy day. I just had one class: Faith, Reason, and the Cosmos. I had the lecture at 10, then the seminar at 12. The lecture was easygoing, the seminar was difficult because of the types of questions he tried to get us to respond to-- they were not open-ended questions. After classes I returned to my room and drank a cup of tea, caught up on Glee, and I drew... for hours. I wouldn't consider myself an artist, but drawing was a very good therapy for me, especially since I don't have any coloring books or crayons here. I used my new journal from Grammy and Grampy and just sketched a couple of photos from my photobooth. I'm actually very proud of one of my drawings, the other I just cannot figure out how to get it right... the perfectionist inside me is dying right. I hung out with Jen, went to dinner with the girls, then hung out with Jen and Kate in Jen's room, where we had so much fun just sitting around listening to Gaga, all the while I was still drawing. When Jen left the room, Kate and I would lock her out and change her facebook status, and on one occasion, I shut her in the closet while Kate changed her status. It was all in good fun, she is such a good sport. Jen is a very sweet girl. This morning she left a note on my door
"Good Morning Hilary,
I have Honey for you!!
<3 Jen"
Now I have honey to put in my tea!
