Day 16

Fridays may be my worst schedule for classes; I have class from 9-11AM, then a FIVE HOUR BREAK before I have to go to my last class at 4PM. It's just sort of obnoxious waiting all day for one last class. Well, I managed, during my break I napped, talked with my mom (who convinced me to open a present early), and skyped with Matt. I went to Cryptography, which seemed really long for an hour. I returned to my room and talked with Jen a bit. We all went to dinner, where I had familiar food: ravioli. After dinner, I showered and got ready while blasting my Lady Gaga. I had a new dress I bought at H+M as a birthday present to myself and the present my mom had me open was a new pair of cute ballet flats. Then Jen and I went to Kate's room, listened to music, danced, and played some games, all the while imitating each others' accents. Then we took the taxi to the bar Victoria 22, though on the way we were told you got a free bottle of champagne for your birthday at Chase. Disappointedly we told them my birthday was still 1.5 hours away, but the guy excitedly took us to the bar, back to the VIP area and got us the free bottle. Then we headed to a club called Tup Tup, paid 6 pounds and stayed for only 10 minutes because it was awful. We ran down to Riverside, where we brought in my birthday! Oddly enough, a guy tried to get one of us girls to kiss his friend because it was his birthday too, so he was very surprised when I said it was my birthday too and he wasn't getting a kiss. We stayed out until around 2:30, then came back to Castle Leazes and drank free tea at the Christian Union. Then Jen and I went with Kate to meet her friend and all of his friends. I was so tired, so I didn't stay as long as them; I  ventured back to my room alone and made myself some hot chocolate to try making my throat feel better.. oh yeah, did I forget to mention I have a bad cold?

I'll tell you about my birthday later... You are in for a surprise: my cake is AWESOME!
