My last Monday morning before Easter Holiday... I went to my two hour lecture for Environment and Sustainability. The professor decided to have us each say our name and the city we are from. When it came to my turn I figured he definitely wouldn't know Vergennes.. and probably not even Vermont. So I said I was from the States. Being the type of teacher who has to be the 'funny guy,' he said "That's not a city" and the class laughed... no shit Sherlock, I think I'm well aware. So I said "I know but I really don't think you know Vergennes, Vermont." The look of confusion on his face screamed "What is Vermont?" so to save himself looking even more ignorant to the class he moved on to the next person very quickly. That's what he gets for messing with me. After lecture I headed over to sign my Student Visa census, to make sure I am still here I guess. Then I had my Number Theory lecture, which went well; I really understood all the material. I met up with Jen and we went downtown to do some shopping; we needed to get stuff for the birthday girl (Kate) and her party later. We returned to my room and spent the next two hours blowing up balloons and colouring pages out of my colouring book for Kate. Eventually we all made it to dinner. I returned to my room to nap, with Jen chilling in my room. Half asleep, I heard the skype song and Jen ran out of my room as fast as she could and I answered my call and had a wonderful skype session with Matt; He is so sweet. After that, Esther and Louise were going to distract Kate in Esther's room while I decorated Kate's room with all the balloons, cake, present, and tiara. Kate walked in early on in the process, but she didn't see much luckily. I then had a very short amount of time to get ready to go out. We all met up in Esther's room, then moved to Kate's where she opened her present and took so many pictures of the balloons everywhere. We had like 15 people in and out of Kate's room. We all got taxis to take us to the bar Victoria 22. Jen and I waited until Kate was out of her mind to return to the dorms. I was exhausted because I never got a nap and Jen had a paper she wanted to work on, so as they headed to the club, we went home.
^^Daffodil's, my favourite flowers! They are in bloom all over campus and I just walk around all the time holding back from picking them.
vvv Lucky for me, Jen was willing to pick me some. I cannot express how much happier I am having daffodil's in my room.
